The Area Being Treated: This is generally dependant on the amount of hair needing to be removed and the size of the area being treated.
For instance, a lip and chin treatment will take less time and fewer pulses of the laser than treating a man's back.
The Density of Hair: Some men
may grow densely and evenly with thick hair shafts while another's may
grow in sparsely and in patches of fine hair, while some women have facial
air that is noticeable only because it is thicker and darker than someone
who has fine, light hair.
The Response to Treatment:
Some people require only 4 treatments for hair to be eliminated and others
may require 8 or even 10.
